Happy Friday everyone, and not just any Friday, a Sunny bank holiday Friday!!

I've been working away on my website (never ending project) and I came across these maternity shots from a gorgeous shoot I did with a very good friend of mine a looong time ago! We had planned to do the shoot in the house so started with that but it was one of those really beautiful winter/ almost spring days so we took ourselves off to the Wooden Bridge in Clontarf and we were so glad we did. I love when I get to mix a shoot up a bit. There is something very intimate about photographing people in their own home. Adding in details like little booties, baby’s clothes, seeing baby's nursery, its just all very lovely and sweet! At the same time, getting outdoors is always a win, especially when you have such beautiful beautiful light! And we really do get gorgeous light in Ireland. Anyway, I really just thought these should have their place on the grid 'cause Maternity shoots are just magical. There is lots of nervous anticipation and excitement, that type of excitement you get just before your lives get turned upside down (in the best possible way).

If you are considering a maternity shoot, please do get in touch, it's a magical time to have some photos taken. Ideally you would have shots taken anytime between 32-38 weeks depending on the size of bump and your comfort levels. Just DM and we can go from there. 💕

This was one of those shoots that very nearly didn't happen. Two days earlier, Dani asked me was there any chance of a shoot before Mari and her family moved on to Australia. They just really wanted to capture the cousins together. Well we just about figured out a time, between school pick ups and dinner. Amongst suitcases, dances and lots of hugs we managed to capture these shots. To me it highlights, that timing, weather and plans don't have to be perfect, sometimes you just gotta take the shots. And when your home is full love & dancing & all your favourite people it might just work out perfectly anyway. Best of luck in Australia Mari 💕

These two were 🔥 I only had an hour with Maria & Cathal but it was an amazing shoot, so much fun energy and love! Even though they weren't expecting me (brother wanted to surprise them!) They were absolute pros!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this little squishmallow recently. It was a very laid-back newborn session in little T's home, including mum dad & big sis. Even though he was really alert & taking everything in when I arrived, he eventually dozed off, so we were lucky enough to get sleepy & awake shots.... all under the watchful eye of the doting 'Lady' .
